July 5th. 2011. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Subject: Breaking the Devil's Pact. The use of recreational and illicit
drugs represents a growing problem in our society. In many cases these
are taken to self-medicate an underlying mental illness. But whatever
the reason for use may be, when discontinued most drugs leave a
bitter legacy of disturbed brain chemistry that ruins the person's
life, often engendering a return to drug use. Acupuncture can in these
cases help to improve and correct brain chemistry. This session looks
at case histories and presents some approaches. Lecturer C.X.
