Traditional Healers Fellowship Seminars:

Please note that seminars listed under this heading are only open to currently accredited Chartered Traditional Healers.

Please also note that from the 1st of July 2009 the Update Seminars will be held on the first Tuesday of each month and run for 2½ hours instead of 2 hours.

 

July 7th 2009. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.

Subject: Toxoplasmosis – the hidden disease. Toxoplasmosis was once viewed as a relatively harmless infection that was only of concern during pregnancy. The latest research shows a more sinister side to this disease, but also shows that traditional, not modern medicine has the answer. Lecturer T.C. Discipline: General.
 

August 4th 2009. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.

Subject: Lectins 1. Lectins are sticky proteins that are present in most plant foods. Lectins are now associated with may health problems. This, the first of two sessions on the subject, explores what they are, their occurrence and their effects on health. Lecturer P.H. Discipline: General.
 

September 1st 2009. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.

Subject: Lectins 2. This session looks at the practical methods of dealing with problems caused by lectins, including rotation diets, exclusion diets, and remedies that counter adverse effects from lectins. Lecturer P.H. Discipline: General.
 

October 6th 2009. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.

Subject: Phenols. Phenolic compounds cause many food intolerances and allergies. This session looks at updated information on phenolic compounds, including the diagnosis of phenolic sensitivity and their occurrence in the diet and in herbal medicine. Lecturer S.H. Discipline: General.
 

November 3rd 2009. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.

Subject: Chronotherapy. The human body has an internal time-clock that brings diurnal fluctuations in hormone levels and in organ activity. This seminar explores the Chinese concept of Chronotherapy and looks at its various systems. Lecturer: C.X. Discipline: TCM.
